the Lora Schools Challenge

On the 14th of July 2017, Michael Ferguson MP officially launched the LoRa Schools Challenge, an Internet of Things (IoT) ideas competition for Tasmanian schools.  The competition itself will run during term three of 2017 and will be open to students in primary schools, high schools and colleges around Tasmania.

At the conclusion of the competition, three winning schools will receive a LoRa development kit and support from Enterprize Tasmania to further explore using IoT in the classroom.

The LoRa Schools Challenge is being supported by the Tasmanian State Government.  To learn more about this initiative, please read the press release from the launch today.

We'll be releasing more information about this competition over the coming weeks, including sharing resources for teachers and details on when the competition will open and close.

If you'd like to receive an email when the LoRa Schools Challenge opens, sign up for our mailing list.  You can expect a lot more information about this competition early in term three.
